Valley of the Smokes
Here's your factoid of the day. The original people who lived in Los Angeles, the Tongvas (not the factoid) called the San Fernando Valley, the Valley of the Smokes, because the topography of the area captured the smoke from their bonfires and kept it there. Now you can look smart!
